Spencer Adventure Trail to Christie Lake
Saturday, April 15th
Join us for an exciting adventure on the Spencer adventure trail from Webster Falls to Christie Lake Conservation Area!
The Spencer trail is approximately 6 kilometers long and is of moderate difficulty, suitable for hikers with some or little experience. Additionally, we will cover 5-6 kilometers around Christie Lake.
We will begin our journey at Webster Falls, and follow the Spencer adventure trail to reach Christie Lake Conservation Area. The trail will take us through lush forests, rolling hills, and rocky outcroppings, providing us with stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty.
During the hike, we will be surrounded by a rich variety of flora and fauna, including several species of trees such as maple, oak, and birch, and an array of wildflowers.
We will pass by stunning waterfall, Webster Falls, and cross several streams and small creeks. As we make our way towards Christie Lake Conservation Area, we will also come across a beautiful lookout point, which offers breathtaking views of the valley below.
At the end of the day, we can take a break and relax by the tranquil waters of Christie Lake.
Overall, this group hike promises to be a wonderful opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Ontario and to connect with other hiking enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this unforgettable adventure!
