Silver Creek Conservation Area Hike
Escarpment valleys, lush forests and the headwaters of Silver Creek
September 5th, 2021
Lace up your hiking shoes and come explore the escarpment valleys and beautiful forests that surround the headwaters of Silver Creek.
ActiveDays is heading to Silver Creek Conservation Area to hike a great section of the Bruce Trail that explores the headwaters of Silver Creek. This trail passes babbling brooks and tracks through escarpment valleys and lush forests. Silver Creek is only an hour from Toronto. It is a wonderful spot to escape, slow down and immerse yourself in the summer forest.
Silver Creek Conservation Area is the largest land holding of Credit Valley Conservation. There are loops that can be added to the hike to extend or shorten the hike for different paces and hiker’s needs.
Come out and make new friends, visit new places and see how the outdoors is closer to the city than you think.

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH ACTIVEDAYS
To us, facilitating this event is about creating an environment that you can engage with in your own way. This is your experience and everyone has their own relationship with the outdoors and their bodies. We want to meet you where you are at — you can take part in the hike, or wander off on your own adventure.
Active Days is also a community. This is an inclusive space to meet new people, share stories and have fun! To us, there is no better place to get to know someone than the outdoors. We all share a desire to get out, explore and move.
All ActiveDays participants are required to sign a waiver. We will bring printed copies of the waiver to sign on the bus. You can find a digital copy of a sample waiver HERE
