MEC Rise and Shine Pride Hike

Join MEC for a beautiful morning hike to Quarry Rock …

We’re teaming up with MEC to provide free transportation to the MEC Rise and Shine Pride Hike to Quarry Rock! We’re kicking off Vancouver Pride in the best way we know, with a beautiful hike our backyards.

Get yourself, your friends and family out of the city with our inclusive guided hike. Take photos, chat with friends and enjoy the peaceful fresh air as we walk through the forest, ending with a scenic view of the Indian Arm and mountains around Belcarra.  Rejuvenate and reset outside with folks who love Pride Week as much as you do.

Everyone is welcome and we can’t wait to share this special day with you!

DAY SCHEDULE

7:00am: Pick-up at MEC Vancouver (150 West Broadway)

7:45am: Arrive at Quarry Rock and begin hiking

10:00am: Hike wraps up and bus leaves trailhead

10:30am: Bus drops off at McSpadden Park for Dyke March & Festival

10:45am: Return to MEC Vancouver

WHAT TO BRING

Food and snacks. In reusable containers if possible!

Water (at least 1.5L)

Hat, Bugspray, Sunscreen

Medications

Weather appropriate clothing

Camera

Whatever else you need to have fun on the trail :)
