Hike + Beach

Sunday july 16, 2023

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Kelso Conservation Area with our group hike! Nestled in the heart of Halton Region, Kelso Conservation Area offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

As we venture along the trails, we'll have the opportunity to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna that call Kelso home. The park features lush forests adorned with maple, oak, and birch trees. Keep an eye out for native wildflowers, such as trilliums and asters, which add bursts of color to the landscape.

After our hike, we'll have a couple of hours to enjoy the park's stunning beach. Kelso boasts a sandy beach along the shimmering waters of Kelso Lake. Take a dip and cool off with a refreshing swim, or simply relax on the shore, soaking up the sun. It's the perfect way to unwind and reflect on our hiking experience.

Join us for a day of adventure and beach enjoyment at Kelso Conservation Area.
