Hilton Falls and Fruit Picking

Saturday august 5

Get ready for an amazing group hike in the stunning Hilton Falls Conservation Area! Located in the heart of Halton Region, this natural oasis offers a perfect blend of picturesque trails, abundant wildlife, and breathtaking waterfalls.

As we explore the trails, we'll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the park's rich flora and fauna. The park is home to a diverse range of trees, including majestic oaks, towering pines, and vibrant maples. Keep your eyes peeled for native wildflowers like trilliums, daisies, and violets that add a splash of color to the landscape.

One of the highlights of our hike will be witnessing the Hilton Falls. As we approach the falls, the sound of cascading water and the mist in the air create a truly magical atmosphere. Take a moment to marvel at the beauty of nature and capture some great photos.

After our hike through Hilton Falls Conservation Area, we'll transfer to the charming Andrews Farm and Market. Andrews Farm is a true gem, offering a variety of activities and an abundance of fresh produce to explore.

At Andrews Farm, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in some fantastic experiences. Take a leisurely stroll through their lush gardens, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and fragrant scents of early August. The farm offers a "pick-your-own" experience, allowing you to hand-select the freshest and most delicious fruits and vegetables straight from the fields.

In early August, you can expect an array of delectable produce at Andrews Farm. You can pick strawberries, ripe blueberries, blackberries, gooseberries and gather sweet raspberries. Fill your baskets with squash and corn. It's a fantastic opportunity to embrace the farm-to-table experience and savor the flavors of the season.

After picking your favorite fruits and vegetables, you can explore Andrews Farm's market. Browse through an assortment of homemade preserves, freshly baked goods, and other locally sourced products. Treat yourself to some irresistible treats or gather ingredients for a farm-fresh feast.

Andrews Farm also offers a range of family-friendly activities, including wagon rides, a petting zoo, corn maze and a playground. It's the perfect place to unwind, connect with nature, and create lasting memories with your fellow hikers.

Get ready for a day of adventure, flavor, and farm-fresh fun!
