Earl Rowe Provincial Park
saturday july 29
Get ready for a day of adventure and exploration with our group hike in Earl Rowe Provincial Park on July 29th! Earl Rowe Provincial Park is a hidden gem located in the heart of Ontario, offering a wide range of trails for hikers of all skill levels.
The park boasts a variety of trails, ranging from easy to moderate difficulty, with lengths ranging from 1.5 to 10 kilometers. The trails will take us through scenic forests, along tranquil streams, and up hills with stunning views.
As an added bonus, the Ontario Parks staff will be providing a "how to build a campfire" workshop for those interested in learning this important camping skill. You'll learn everything you need to know about building a safe and enjoyable campfire. This workshop is a great opportunity for anyone who's new to camping or wants to brush up on their fire-building skills.
In addition to the scenic trails and abundant wildlife, Earl Rowe Provincial Park also boasts two beautiful beaches - one on Earl Rowe Lake and the other on the smaller Sugarbush Lake. After our hike, we can take a dip in the refreshing waters and cool off from the summer heat. The beaches offer a perfect spot for relaxation and a chance to unwind before our journey back home.
