Centennial Ridges Trail- Algonquin Park

Algonquin’s most epic day hike

october 27

10kms. Rugged Terrain. But the views - worth it!

Algonquin Park is the reason many nature loving people travel to Ontario each year. Bigger than the state of Deleware this gem of Ontario hosts over 2400 lakes and hundreds of thousands of hectares of forest!

As the park quiets down and prepares for winter, ActiveDays gears up to take on the longest day hiking trail along the famous Highway 60 corridor.

PLEASE NOTE: We are now past the peak of fall colours. And while there will be many beautiful scenes to witness during this hike- a full forest of colour will not be one of them. Late October is a special type of beauty AND if the weather is right can be absolutely perfect for a nice long hike such as this.

Weather: Should the weather be really rainy and cold we will cancel the trip about 48hours out.

Trail Difficulty: Centennial Ridges Trail is a very demanding 10.4- 11km loop (depending on entry point) trail that affords spectacular viewing along two high ridges. The terrain is rocky with many inclines.
