ski, snowshoe, hike and explore with friends
january 25, 2020
Less than an hour from downtown- a winter adventure!
Albion Hills Conservation Area is a fantastic day-trip and escape from the city to the rolling hills of Caledon, Ontario. With many kms of ski and snow shoe trails, a heated indoor lodge and even a tobogganing hill- this destination is fun for the whole family.
Our bus will leave from Mountain Equipment Coop at 9:45am. This will give time for anyone who needs to - to pick up rentals for the day. There are also rentals on site at Albion Hills on a first come, first serve basis.
*PARKBUS RIDERS GET 50% off of gear rentals from MEC*
The selection of gear is first come first serve. We recommend stopping by earlier in the week to reserve.
As a group we’ll do a hike together upon arrival. After breaking for lunch- the afternoon is free time. You are welcome to explore the great outdoors in your way be it skiing, tobogganing or simply hanging out in the winter forest.
Please note there are no lessons provided. Winter activities can be really fun! If you’re trying something new please do so at your own risk.

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH ACTIVEDAYS
To us, facilitating this event is about creating an environment that you can engage with in your own way. This is your experience and everyone has their own relationship with the outdoors and their bodies. We want to meet you where you are at — you can take part in the group activities OR choose your own adventure.
Active Days is also a community. This is an inclusive space to meet new people, share stories and have fun! To us, there is no better place to get to know someone than the outdoors. We all share a desire to get out, explore and move.
Hope to see you there!
All ActiveDays participants are required to sign a waiver. We will bring printed copies of the waiver to sign on the bus. You can find a digital copy of a sample waiver HERE
