Snowshoeing at Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre

saturday january 25

We return to one of our favorite destinations for winter fun—Wye Marsh!

This trip combines a hike and snowshoeing experience so whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced snowshoe enthusiast, you can enjoy this fun winter activity during either the first or second part of the day.

But first, we’ll stop at a charming local farm for some delicious treats and warm drinks on our way to the park.

Nestled within the heart of Ontario's Georgian Bay region, Wye Marsh offers a diverse network of trails that wind through wetlands, forests, and meadows.

Special features of Wye Marsh include the iconic floating boardwalks that meander through the marshlands, providing a bird's-eye view of the vibrant ecosystem below.

Easy: Relatively flat trails, with gentle inclines. Suitable for beginners.
