Hike and Strawberry Picking
sunday july 14
Celebrate harvest time with a hike and fruit pickin
Spend a day in the countryside during the most sweet time of year! Join us for a hike followed by apple picking at the Farm!
Join us on July 14 for an exciting hike at Long Sault Conservation Area, followed by a delightful strawberry picking experience at Pingle’s Farm! The Long Sault Conservation Area is a hidden gem boasting over 400 hectares of diverse landscapes, including mature forests, wetlands, and meadows. As we hike through its scenic trails, we’ll enjoy the rich flora and fauna, spotting various wildlife and plant species native to the Oak Ridges Moraine.
After our group hike, we’ll head to Pingle’s Farm for some fresh, seasonal picking. The farm offers strawberries, peas, lavender, possibly blueberries, and wildflowers (some options are not guaranteed due to the nature of farming). Fresh-picked strawberries are available for $12.00 per 2L container. Your ticket to this event, also includes access to the playland, wagon rides, access to the pick-your-own fields. Please note that food, drink, and any pick-your-own produce are an additional charge and can be paid for on-site.
This adventure combines the best of nature’s beauty and farm-fresh delights, making it a perfect summer outing!
