Discover the Origins of the Credit River

Get out this weekend and connect with the nature around you. To the North of Toronto, we will be adventuring into the origins of the Credit River; one of the main waterways of the GTA!
Located in Caledon, Ontario, Canada, Forks of the Credit is part of the Niagara Escarpment biosphere. The park is on the Bruce Trail as well as includes the Dominion trail, Kettle Trail, Meadow trail, and Trans Canada Trail.

Forks of the Credit Provincial Park holds a rich history deeply rooted in the region's past. Originally inhabited by Indigenous peoples, the area later became significant during the industrial boom of the 19th century. The park's name stems from its location at the confluence of the Credit River and its tributaries, which served as a crucial hub for early settlers engaged in logging and milling activities.

Today, trails wind through remnants of the park's industrial past, while lush forests and meandering waterways provide a serene backdrop for outdoor recreation and exploration. Through its history and conservation efforts, the park continues to inspire appreciation for Ontario's natural landscapes and cultural heritage.

Discover waterfalls, old-growth forests, and fresh air!
