Experience the magic of the holiday season with a unique adventure at Mountsberg's Christmas Town! Start your day with a leisurely 2 to 2.5-hour guided hike through Mountsberg Conservation Area, taking in the serene winter landscapes.
Afterward, we dive into the enchantment of Christmas Town with a self-guided exploration filled with festive activities.
- enjoy a group storytime with Santa
- keep an eye out for a special visit from Mrs. Claus
- indulge in cookie decorating with hot chocolate
- embark on a holiday scavenger hunt
- craft memorable decorations
- explore the whimsical Elf Academy and Toy Central play area
- test your skills at the Flight Academy
- step into Mrs. Claus' kitchen for a peek at where all the delicious holiday treats are made.
Don’t miss the chance to meet Mountsberg’s raptors and friendly barn animals, and end the day with some playful time at the natural playground. It's a joyful winter day filled with nature and holiday cheer for all ages!

DAY SCHEDULE 

9:00am - Pick up at 34 Asquith (right near Yonge and Bloor) Please be at least 15 minutes early for your trip to make sure you have time to board the bus.

10:15 - 12:30pm - Guided Group Hike

12:30 - 1pm - Lunch trailside or at the event

1 - 3:00pm - Exploring Christmas Town

3:30pm- Depart for Toronto

WHAT TO BRING

Lunch/ Snacks. It is a good idea to bring a thermos with hot drink.

Supportive footware

Water (at least 1.5L)

Medications

Weather appropriate clothing- Please keep an eye on the weather and be prepared for a warm day or a slightly chilly rainy one, or both!

Camera

Ice cleats or spikes (if snow/icy conditions)

To us, facilitating this event is about creating an environment that you can engage with in your own way. This is your experience and everyone has their own relationship with the outdoors and their bodies. We want to meet you where you are at — you can take part in the hike, or wander off on your own adventure

ActiveDays is also a community. This is an inclusive space to meet new people, share stories and have fun! To us, there is no better place to get to know someone than the outdoors. We all share a desire to get out, explore and move.
